Movie News: Edgar Wright's New Movie Gets Greenlight

This is news that I've been anxiously waiting for for a long time! It looks like Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg, and Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) are all teaming up again for a new movie called The World's End. Here's a description of of the movie from IMDB.

20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them becomes hell bent on trying the drinking marathon again. They are convinced to stage an encore by mate Gary King, a 40-year old man trapped at the cigarette end of his teens, who drags his reluctant pals to their home town and once again attempts to reach the fabled pub, The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just theirs but humankind's. Reaching The World's End is the least of their worries.

I think this is a movie to look forward to!

It seems that Arrested Development star, Jason Bateman, is going to be making his directorial debut with an indie comedy called Bad Words. It's going to be about a thirty something year old man that finds a loophole in the national spelling bee so he can enter. Sounds like a promising movie from a very funny person.
